How to Grow Cilantro from Seed? Cilantro is easy to grow from seed. Directly sow seeds in the garden or container 1” deep, thin seedlings to 4” apart. Cilantro will bolt (go to seed) when the weather gets warm. Succession plant (plant cilantro seeds every few weeks) to have a continuous harvest.
