This is a beautiful and easy to grow garden favourite. Large Grey Stripe is a fast growing sunflower that you direct seed in early spring. The strong stalks can reach up to 10 feet — but do not need support.

How to Grow Sunflowers? Direct sow in spring. Sunflowers do better if directly planted in the garden, rather than being started indoors. This is a tall variety and would be better suited to the garden than a container. Plant seeds about 1″ deep and at least 8″ apart.
