A fun and easy to grow windowsill hot pepper.
Seed Savers Exchange (USA) reports that this pepper was found growing on windowsills in Siberia. It is a small plant (12 in) with small medium hot peppers. It is a prolific producer of 50+ peppers/plant. Grandpa’s Home Pepper is happy in a 1-gallon pot. The seedsavers at Seeds Trust (Montana) report it grows well under low light conditions.
How to Plant: Similar to tomatoes start indoors 8 weeks before the date of last frost. Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in individual pots. A heat mat will help germination.
