This tomato is a workhorse. Fargo Yellow Pear is crazy productive. You will have bushels of beautiful bright yellow tomatoes from early summer, right up until the end of summer. Fargo Yellow Pear is the perfect size for salads and on veggie trays (28g/1oz in size). It was developed in 1932 by the legendary tomato breeder Dr. A. F. Yeager in North Dakota. Fargo Yellow Pear is a cross between Bison and Yellow Pear.

The fruits of Fargo Yellow Pear are slightly larger than the well-known Yellow Pear tomato, and more oval than pear-shaped. It has a wonderful sweet, fruity taste. And Fargo Yellow Pear is a sprawling semi-determinate plant, rather than a climbing indeterminate like Yellow Pear, so it only needs a short stake. Tie it up once and you are done.

How to Plant: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seed 5mm (¼ inch) deep. Keep moist. When true leaves appear, transplant to a larger container if needed. Transplant outside after the danger of frost has passed/later spring.
