20 seeds (or more)

A masterpiece created by Phil Seneca of Good Mind Seeds and named after the wizard on the Smurfs.

One of the best tasting tomatoes, ever. Sweet, tart, with a hint of rhubarb or plum. Gargamel’s ancestry includes a deep pool of genetics, including anthocyanin and wild currant tomato genes (Solanum pimpinellifolium).

Beautiful 100g red fruit striped with gold, black, blue. EARLY and productive. Gargamel also has impressive storage abilities–once picked it will last off the vine for a long time. And Phil notes that Gargamel is fungal disease resistant. An excellent tomato.

How to Plant: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seed 5mm (¼ inch) deep. Keep moist. When true leaves appear, transplant to a larger container if needed. Transplant outside after the danger of frost has passed/later spring.
