Glossy Rose Blue is true to its name; it absolutely shines. It looks beautiful on the vine with long trusses of 12-15 satin pink tomatoes splashed with blue (Anthocyanin) shoulders. Tomatoes are blue/purple when unripe, satin pink with a hint of blue when ripe. Glossy Rose Blue will need a stake as it grows tall, at least 5 feet, and is very productive. Well-balanced flavour, good sweetness, with a bit of tang. Glossy Rose Blue is the creation of the German seed company Deaflora.
How to Plant: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seed 5mm (¼ inch) deep. Keep moist. When true leaves appear, transplant to a larger container if needed. Transplant outside after the danger of frost has passed/later spring.
