White Currant has an excellent, bright sweet ‘flavour burst’ (another tomato we describe as having a ‘flavour burst’ is Ixtepec Highlands — but that one is sweet, then spicy — you can find Ixtepec Highlands in the ‘Ancient Landraces’ section).
White Currant will turn from white to creamy yellow when ripe (as pictured). This tomato is perfect for snacking straight off the vine and enjoying its spectacular taste. If we haven’t eaten them all ourselves, we should have some seeds to offer:)
How to Plant: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seed 5mm (¼ inch) deep. Keep moist. When true leaves appear, transplant to a larger container if needed. Transplant outside after the danger of frost has passed/later spring.
