Micro and Compact

Micro and Compact (‘Mini’) tomatoes are great for small spaces. Micro tomatoes are up to 40 cm (15″) in height and can be grown in 1 gallon containers. Compact (‘Mini’) tomatoes are 40 cm to 60 cm (15″ to 2 feet) and can be grown in 3 to 5 gallon containers. Both can also be grown in the ground. Micro and Compact tomatoes are great for getting an early start on the season as they are usually the first tomatoes to produce fruit.
