Paste

Paste tomatoes usually have lower moisture content and are meatier than non-paste tomatoes. They lend themselves to making salsa, sauces and stews. However, a good paste tomato will also taste great right off the vine and has the dual function of being able to be thrown in a salad or in a sandwich.
