This eye-catching all purpose variety has a rich, parsley flavour. It is great for fresh eating and adding to pasta, soup and potato salads. Dark Green Italian parsley has strong stems, large leaves and great production. It is an easy cut-and-come again herb. Grows to a height of 10-18 inches.
How to Plant: Ease of Germination: Easy. Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Or you can start your parsley when you start your outdoor garden plants, at the end of May. Sow seeds just below the soil surface, keep soil moist until seedlings emerge. Parsley can be slow to germinate (up to 3 weeks). It helps to soak seeds overnight in water, then drain and plant. If growing in a container, pick a deep one as parsley has a deep root system.
